Lazerrus Laslonin

Elven Archmage

Being born of Rhoria and Dasarius Laslonin, this young elf had been born with abilities he did yet understand. It would not be for years to come that he would discover those abilities and find out the ways of the arch mage. For you see this elf has a destiny, a destiny that he will one day fulfill This destiny being to avenge the long life of his father and mother who's lives were taken upon the realm of Ravenloft by the evil powers of Strahd Von Zarovich.  When traveling the realms performing magic shows for small towns here and there he would watch his father perform some amazing displays of magical power bringing amazement from the crowds.  He never knew that the powers his father controlled went beyond mere trickery and illusion. It wasn't until the so-called deaths of his parents when the mage Shalarian found him wandering the realms that he learned the true powers of magic.

            After Shalarian found this boy a new home and foster parents in Evereska he would always remember those displays that his father would perform and try to perform them for his friends usually ending in embarrassment and laughter.  As he grew older he had learned that magic is a respective power and not a game.  It was one day when Shalarian came to check up on the boy, that wasn't so much a boy anymore, that he was sat down and told the stories of his father's real powers and just what they could do.  The disciplines they taught, the energy that they possessed, and the role that they played in all of this.  Lazerrus was amazed and begged to be taught these amazing ways of power, heath, and strength, and the benefits that they offer.  Shalarian knew the possibilities of this young elf and the ability that was passed down to him.  He knew that he must point him in the right direction.  So he began to tutor Lazerrus in the mystic ways of magic.  He first told him of the deities and their alignments and that he must find his own.  The one that would listen, answer, and protect him. He began to prey, no one answered.....

            One day while in combat with a deadly thief he was poisoned and ready to get his throat cut when an aura image appeared of a mighty elf who slayed the thief with one stroke of his sword. The thief burst into flames and screamed then vanished. This glowing elf then placed his hand upon Lazerrus's head and said, "If thou will worship me, ye will always be divine". Lazerrus felt a powerful feeling of goodness come over him. He had found his deity As to why he came he does not know. But forever thankful was he and he would worship Correlon Larethian for eternity. He would always wear the quarter moon amulet that his deity left him on that fatal night. After telling Samarian about this he started his new life to benefit the good of the world and of his new god.

            Now Lazerrus at times leaves his home in Evereska to wonder the realms to heighten his abilities and search for ways to find his parent's killer.  He knows of where to find him but not how.  He also will wait until the time is right.  He still sees Shalarian from time to time to report his progress and pick up a lesson or two.  Always staying true to his deity he lives a wanderer's life. For he is Lazerrus Laslonin an orphan to the realm of magic.
